This is the new space for applications and bookings for the
Creatives of Wangaratta and Surrounds (CoWS) Creatives Market!
Established in 2022, the CoWS Market is a monthly indoor market that aims to celebrate and showcase the work of makers, artisans, artists and small business owners from Victoria's North East. Set in beautiful Wangaratta, the market grew out of a need for craft markets in the region in a venue that would allow vendors to trade year round without the unpredictability of weather. The CoWS Market has grown to be regarded as one of the best local markets in the region, showcasing unique handmade products and a curated stallholder line up.

We would love to have you at our market! We are always looking for new stallholders in order to make our market fresh and exciting for our customers month after month!
HOW TO KNOW IF THE COWS MARKET IS FOR YOU?
  • Are you based in Victoria's North East?
  • Do you hand-make some or all of your products?
  • Are your products small enough to be easily showcased at an indoor venue in one or two tables?
  • Can you work together with others to create a relaxing market atmosphere of cooperation?

LOCATION

The CoWS Market is held at the CWA Hall on Templeton St, Wangaratta. Next to King George Park and across from the RSL

WHEN

The CoWS Creatives Market is held on the 4th Saturday of each month.

With the exception of the December Market which will be help on the 3rd Saturday of the Month

STALLHOLDER INFORMATION

The venue has capacity for 19 indoor single sites and 2 outdoor sites. Indoor Sites have a 2mx2m size and outdoor sites have a 3mx3m size. You can secure your spot by selecting the number of the stall you would like to book from the dates available below. Please note that the organisers do not take any responsibility on site allocations and they are available in a first come first served basis. The only way to guarantee your chosen spot for future markets is to book and pay for those markets. No spots will be held without payment.

STALL SIZE

CoWS Market only offers single sites. These are 2m x 2m (indoor) or 3m x 3m (outdoor). Stallholders are required to bring their own tables and chairs and all other display materials. Stallholders and not allowed to hang products from any walls or otherwise use any of the venue as display. 

PLEASE NOTE: AT THIS TIME WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO OFFER ONE SITE PER BUSINESS, DOUBLE SITE BOOKINGS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

INSURANCE

All stallholders are required to hold a valid product and public market insurance of a minimum of 10 million dollars to be accepted to the CoWS Market. Stallholders without valid insurance will be refused. It is the stallholders responsibility to ensure they have a valid and up to date insurance, and it will not be followed up by the organisers. 

HOW TO BOOK

If you would like to apply to join the CoWS Market, please fill out the application form below and only then move on to book your preferred market dates at the very bottom of the page. Bookings made without an application form will be refused.

REFUNDS

Bookings made with the CoWS Market are final and we do not issue refunds on a change of mind basis. We do not offer transfer or credits for future markets if you cannot attend. If you cannot attend for any reason, we kindly ask that you let us know as soon as possible so we can offer the site to the next makers on the waitlist. Stallholders who don't attend and do not notify the organisers carry the risk of being denied return to future markets.

 WHAT KIND OF PRODUCTS CAN I BRING?
CoWS Market aims to showcase the best artists, artisans, makers and small business owners have to share, and therefore we give preference to hand made items. Please be clear on the product description and tell us exactly what you are planning to sell on the day. Please also provide clear photos of your set up or products. We are also open to local organisations and businesses that want to showcase their companies.

BUMP IN/BUMP OUT INFORMATION
Information about bump in/out and any other details about the market day will be emailed directly to stallholders at least one week prior to the market day
